PeakEquity Partners announced today that Ben Laufer has joined the firm as a Director. Ben will focus on originating and evaluating new investment opportunities, and will also be responsible for transaction execution, portfolio support and fundraising efforts.

Ben previously spent time with NISA Investment Advisors, an institutional investment manager with over $500 billion in AUM; MRI Software, a TA Associates, GI Partners and Harvest Partners jointly-owned portfolio company; Arbor Advisors, a software-focused investment bank; Proskauer Rose, a global law firm; and two companies that he co-founded. Ben holds a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
