Radnor, PA – We are pleased to announce the formation of PeakEquity Partners, (“PeakEquity”), a private equity partnership of veteran investors and operators focused on optimizing the growth and profitability of Enterprise Software and Solutions companies.

PeakEquity will invest in Enterprise Software and Solutions businesses with revenues of $15 to $50 million. Companies of interest will have large addressable markets, proven technology, products and offerings, and demonstrated traction with a meaningful base of reference-able customers. PeakEquity can invest $20 to $50 million or more per portfolio company and will take minority or majority positions. As a long term financial and strategic partner working alongside founders and management, the firm will provide capital for growth or shareholder liquidity and will assist in optimizing product or solutions offerings by developing enhanced “go-to-market” strategies. PeakEquity will target companies that have the potential for annual revenue growth in excess of 30%. The firm leverages and provides access to extensive operating resources to provide companies an edge in capturing market segment leadership and achieving revenue growth and margin objectives.

PeakEquity was founded by Greg Case, an experienced private equity investor, and Paul Winn, a seasoned Chairman, CEO and GM of various public and privately owned Enterprise Software and Solutions companies. Mr. Case is a former Shareholder and Senior Partner of Apax Partners, where he was a member of the U.S. Investment and Operating Committees. While with Apax, Mr. Case led the U.S. late stage technology practice and was involved in numerous investments, including growth capital, spin-out and take-private transactions. Mr. Winn is an operating executive who has led large and middle-market Enterprise Software and Solutions firms. After an executive career in various senior operating roles with IBM, Mr. Winn has served as chairman, CEO, and board member/advisor to several middle-market Enterprise Software and Solutions businesses. Companies with which Mr. Winn has been involved have been able to accelerate growth and increase profitability through development of new products, entry into new markets, cultivation of new distribution channels, strategic relationships, and execution of sustainable growth models. Messrs. Case and Winn first joined forces over 10 years ago in Apax Partners’ acquisition of Princeton Softech.
